A Day of Bloodshed was formed in early 2010 with founding
member Steven Martinez (Guitars) with Joel Egnew (Drums)
Mike Salinas (Bass) and Craig Hamilton (Vocalist) releasing
the first single "In the Absence of Light" set the starting
tone for their first EP " Becoming" in early fall of
2010, supporting the EP release with local and regional
shows saw the release of ADOB first official music video
" In The Absence of Light" and "Until I Erase" Shortly
after the Video release of Until I Erase came the departure
of Vocalist Craig Hamilton, and Prior to In The Absence
Of Light video came the lost of original Bassist Mike
Salinas. While in the works to what was to be a full
length effort, became the Tides EP which was released
in the fall of 2012 added Vocalist Alex Provost who's
vocals are featured on the Tides EP. Short lived positions
in the band brought yet again a line up change. While
rolling with the punches and being the glue to keep
ADOB longevity going Steven Martinez was able to source
new additions Joel Almendarez (Vocals), James Menard
(Guitar) and Daniel Gallegos (bass) Now as a 5 member
band A day of Bloodshed would have its renewed energy
to compliment their live performances. Even though the
band has gone through its shares of struggles and challenges
ADOB have seen themselves sharing the stage in support
of Legendary act such as Sepultura, Fear Factory, Shadows
Fall, Spineshank, In This Moment, Straight line Stitch,
The Browning, The Devastated, Eternal Hatred, Kobra
and The Lotus . Look out for new things to come late
this year and a new release to follow early 2014! Their
latest video single "In Time" Features the new line
up and its music style may appeal to fans of Parkway
Drive and As I Lay Dying.
