For the record, who's answering the interview?

NORDIC'S YELL

I’m Lorenzo guitarist in Nordic’s Yell.

What is your band's name? How did you come up with that name?

NORDIC'S YELL

The name of the band is Nordic’s Yell. We are called Niel's voice. He has a heavy low voice which came from the ancient Viking times. That’s why Nordic’s Yell corresponds to the spirit of our music.

So who's in the band and what instruments do you each play?

NORDIC'S YELL

Lorenzo ( guitarist) ; Niels ( guitarist and singer) ; Antoine ( drummer and singer)

How would you describe your sound. What makes you unique?

NORDIC'S YELL

The guitar solos and the voices of the band made our sound, the loudness of our rhythm guitar too. We play as loud as metal on rock songs, and we are doing unplugged too, we will never reduce ourselves and our music to one unique style, I think this is definitely our brand.

What bands have influenced each of you?

NORDIC'S YELL

We are all influenced by bands like Ataxia, Wardruna, White Stripes, Rage Against The Machine, Audioslaves, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, and of course Bob Dylan.

How experienced are you on the stage, a virgin or whore?

NORDIC'S YELL

On stage we are fighters, and we fight for that the sound to become loudest of the loudest, to give a big trip to people in front of us. Two years ago, we were playing on the road" on a big stage, and the bass was so loud a teenager passed out in the front.

How would you describe your shows?

NORDIC'S YELL

It completely depends of the stage we are playing. Sometimes we are playing really psychedelic and atmospheric concerts, like a mystic incantation which remind me of The Doors spirit. we use a steel guitar to get people high. And sometimes we are really wild, destroying the sound with huge saturation and yells coming from another time, jumping everywhere and destroying hearing crowd.

Tell us about your favorite show and why?

NORDIC'S YELL

The live we played at "L’autre Canal" in Nancy was really cool, because we had a very good sound and cause the crowd was pretty warm. It’s during this concert that the teenager passed out at the first song of the concert. Niel's ends the concert with a guitar solo in the middle of the crowd, it was really fun.

Tell us about your worst show and why?

NORDIC'S YELL

I think it was in Paris, we were playing at "le batofar". We had a deal with the booker, he was supposed to came with lot of people from musical industry looking for new bands. So we came and we play but no one came, even the booker wasn’t here. He came at the end of the concert. We were really close to fighting with him. It’s definitely the worst concert we have done.

Tell Us About Your Dream Show, who you'd like to play with and where?

NORDIC'S YELL

For us, the dream would be to tour with an independent unknown rock band which kick some ass on stage, and touring with them in East Europe or in the USA for a summer. Guys like us who love music, love having fun, love rock but who aren’t to big.

Do you have a record label and if not are you looking for one?

NORDIC'S YELL

We are looking for a booker, and if it must be a label, why not. But actually the thing really important for us is to tour and to play gigs.

What are your plans for the future, in a year, 5 years?

NORDIC'S YELL

In one year I hope we will have drink enough beer to continue to rocking for the next 5 years .
